
About this role
The Senior Product Designer will lay the groundwork for a more seamless end-to-end user experience by creating consistent, intuitive UI patterns and driving design innovation that improves booking completion, reduces friction, and raises product quality at scale.
What you’ll be doing:
- Craft the UI/UX for Angkas’ customer and driver experiences, ensuring a cohesive, intuitive, and scalable product experience across key journeys.
- Execute an end-to-end product design for key initiatives from discovery and definition to prototyping, validation, and final UI delivery.
- Design and refine high-frequency flows (e.g., onboarding, booking, payments, support), ensuring clarity, consistency, and ease-of-use across all touchpoints.
- Simplify complex operational and marketplace constraints into intuitive user flows and interaction models for both customers and drivers.
- Drive the creation and adoption of design patterns and reusable components through Angkas’ design system, improving speed, quality, and consistency across teams.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data/Analytics, Marketing, and Ops to align on problem framing, validate solutions, and measure impact post-launch.
- Champion design quality and accessibility standards; provide mentorship, critique, and guidance to elevate craft and decision-making across the design team.

- You can lead through influence: you align Product, Engineering, Ops, and stakeholders with strong rationale, prototypes, and data.
- You challenge transactional experiences and know how to turn them into powerful journeys.
- You’re outcome-driven and iterative, using qualitative feedback and metrics to validate ideas, learn quickly, and improve what ships.
