T&L: In the Transportation & Logistics segment (Transporeon), our solutions make it safer, simpler and more efficient to move freight—bringing together a global network of shippers, carriers, brokers and 3PLs.
What Makes This Role Great:
In this role, you will be the primary architect of legal excellence within our transportation SaaS division, directly influencing global logistics by leading the development of next-generation legal solutions. You will act as a high-impact strategic advisor to senior management, shaping the future of international transportation technology while driving the seamless integration of transformative acquisitions.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate legal risks, providing legal guidance and/or training for major organizational functions.
Provide strategic advice and direction to senior managers/management in various areas, groups, or operations including management.
Negotiate critical sector matters with external parties.
Lead the development of new legal solutions and frameworks in the legal transportation SaaS division.
Develop and decide on best practices and improve procedures to ensure efficient performance.
Support the team at further developing the contract management division as center of excellence.
Make informed decisions for mid-risk legal, contract management, compliance and data protection cases, guided by sector strategy and objectives.
Ensure the integration of acquired companies, including change management.
Essential Skills & Experience
Law degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on the transportation sector.
Proven track record in managing projects and providing strategic legal advice.
Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in managing complex legal projects and litigation.
Experience with SaaS and data protection compliance.
Familiarity with international legal regulations and compliance standards.
Bonus Points For
Advanced German Language Skills: Proficiency in German to better support our diverse European operations and stakeholders.
Change Management Experience: A background in successfully guiding teams through organizational transitions and legal integrations.
