The role
Crown Resorts is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our group legal team on a permanent, full-time basis. This dynamic role supports our lawyers across Sydney, Melbourne and Perth in delivering high-quality legal services by managing documentation, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition to supporting with a diverse and complex range of work, you’ll also be responsible for managing the legal technology requirements of the team.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organised and has a pro-active approach to their work. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
Some of the key responsibilities will involve:
- Drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and correspondence including contract amendments, extensions, licences, and confidentiality agreements
- Conducting legal research and monitoring legislative updates, preparing summaries for internal distribution
- Maintaining accurate filing systems and case management records
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of internal legal resources such as templates, playbooks, and process guides
- Participating in legal process improvement initiatives, including automation, digitisation and standardisation of routine tasks
- Liaising with clients, courts and external stakeholders as required
- Providing administrative support to the legal team
You’ll have:
- A Certificate IV in Legal Services or equivalent qualification (or working towards)
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities whilst remaining calm under pressure
- High attention to detail and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
