We would love to see you in our OKC office Tuesday-Thursday to experience our culture! APMEX is looking for an established designer with a desire to strengthen their design skills to help produce enticing products and packaging. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on, highly detail-oriented person who exhibits exceptional artistic ability and visual aptitude resulting in successful creative problem-solving solutions. This team player is willing to collaborate with others within a fast-paced environment to maintain and execute the integrity for success in each and all stages of a project’s life cycle, from concept to final production.   The life of a Graphic Designer at a glance! Execute product and packaging concepts and final production files, following brand strategies and guidelines. Ensure that content and visuals meet licensor standards when required Prepare graphic layouts, production artwork, and renderings of approved designs. Package printer-ready art files in collaboration with 3rd party vendors, optimizing for specialty print processes where necessary Review proofs and pre-production samples of products and packaging to ensure design specifications are accurate through final production. Travel to production facilities when required (local). Ability to create compelling, clear and focused designs that meet project objectives and envision how 2D designs will translate to 3D on final products Lead ideation sessions and design review meetings with creative, product management, executive teams, and various mints as required Research design trends, maintain up-to-date knowledge of new and trending competitor products and the latest software capabilities A keen eye for premium products & brands, and how the use of craftsmanship, innovation, and novelty can elevate the customer experience Well organized with the ability to manage deadlines of multiple projects at once and adapt to shifting priorities; ability to delegate workload to junior designer(s) Detail oriented with the ability to interpret and incorporate detailed feedback into their work Enjoys working as a team, but can also complete projects independently Strong communication skills, collaborating with internal departments and external vendor teams; ability to persuade team members, sell ideas effectively, and deliver final products Ensure all working design files are properly archived and documented throughout the life of a project POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Adaptability/Flexibility - Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure, adjusts plans to meet changing needs  Communication - Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations when needed, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills  Creativity/Innovation - Generates new ideas, challenges the status quo, takes risks, supports change, encourages innovation, solves problems creatively.  Decision Making/Judgment - Recognizes problems and responds, systematically gathers information, sorts through complex issues, seeks input from others, addresses root causes of issues, makes timely decisions, can make difficult decisions, uses consensus when possible, communicates decisions to others  Initiative - Tackles problems and takes independent action, seeks out new responsibilities, acts on opportunities, generates new ideas, practices self-development  Qualifications**Portfolio required** Please email your resume and your portfolio highlighting your best projects that show your creative skills to: Jessica.hutton@bullioninternationalgroup.com Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design or other related field Experience: 3-5 years of professional graphic or industrial/product design experience Advanced experience in Adobe Creative Cloud products: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign Experience with Figma a plus Experience with Bynder or other digital asset management systems a plus Experience with 3D rendering software such as Blender or Keyshot a plus Experience using AI to rapidly explore concepts prior to executing final designs Other Skills: Experience leading design projects and delegating workload Strong drawing and visual concepting skills (hand sketching and/or digital) Solid understanding of practices, principles, and techniques employed in graphic and product design and production Strong attention to detail, including the ability to review, QC, and troubleshoot artwork files and physical product and packaging samples Strong understanding of practices, principles, and techniques employed in graphic design, product design, and manufacturing processes Strong time management and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude Fantastic benefits provided by APMEX!
