About the Role
• Deliver impactful AI solutions aligned with pre-defined business goals to drive adoption and measurable organizational value. Ensure these outcomes are achieved within the fixed project resources, optimizing cost, quality, and delivery time.• Developing and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs for GIO’s AI and non-AI products.
• Ensures the back-end infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure, enabling seamless integration with front-end components and other services by collaborating with the Frontend team.
- Maintain strong and effective communication with project stakeholders, business units and technical teams to ensure project efficiency and maximize stakeholder satisfaction.
- Analyze user requirements, existing and new business models and provide solutions by fine-tuning existing sub-systems or an existing functional areas of the systems and procedures.
- Design system and other delivererables aligned with security, compliance and design principles through focus on quality, evaluate and conduct cost effective solutions.
- Translate business requirement (BRD) / function specification (FS) to technical design requirements including test strategy and quality ensurance approach.
- Capable of solving complex technical challenges, with a forward-looking perspective on emerging technologies and a strong focus on practical implementation.
- Act as a mentor to junior developers, providing them with structured guidance on both business and technical knowledge to ensure professional growth.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as periodically assigned by the team to meet changing operational or organizational needs
- The role involves engaging external stakeholders to present and finalize system designs, requiring clear communication, alignment of expectations, and consensus-building.

Minimum Job Requirements
- University degree or above in IT or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years experience in software development
- 3+ years’ software architect to design and develop enterprise web system.
- 3+ years’ RESTful interface design and development.
- 3+ years’ database and SQL experience (e.g. DB2, Oracle and etc.);
- Understanding of software development cycles, tests methodologies, debugging strategies and risk management is mandatory.
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required to effectively communicate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- 3 yrs experience in team management (3-5 staff)
