Data Analyst – Trades, Ops & Growth Focus

With trade businesses operating across Sydney and Wollongong, we’re known for our commitment to quality, growth, and transparency. We’re now hiring our first dedicated Data Analyst to work across both businesses and help transform raw operational data into actionable insights.

💼 About the Role

This is not a typical back-office analyst role. You’ll be right in the guts of the business, working closely with department leads, and the owner to identify margin leaks, improve team performance, and drive smarter decision-making.

You’ll have access to a rich data stack (ServiceTitan, Xero, Google Ads, etc.) and the freedom to design dashboards and systems that genuinely improve how we operate.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards tracking technician performance, job profitability, and margins
• Extract and clean data from ServiceTitan, Xero, and ad platforms
• Monitor daily job margins and flag cost overruns
• Analyze marketing ROI and lead conversion by source
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting across divisions (Plumbing & Electrical)
• Partner with the owner to support forecasting, pricing reviews, and cost reduction initiatives
• Automate reports where possible to free up team capacity
• Help identify the true cost per job and guide pricing or resourcing strategies

🧠 About You

• 3+ years in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role (service/trade/ops focus ideal)
• Fluent in Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI or Google Data Studio
• Strong skills in data cleaning, transformation, and visualisation
• Confident working with stakeholders and turning numbers into action
• Experience with ServiceTitan is a massive plus
• Bonus: Experience in trade services, construction, or multi-location businesses
