About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced full-cycle recruiter to support hiring for Physical Therapists and other clinic-based roles across our growing organization. This role is heavily focused on proactive sourcing, pipeline building, and relationship management in a competitive healthcare market.
This is not an entry-level recruiting role. We are looking for someone who has already worked as a full-time recruiter.
Our organization has been around for over 70 years, but our recruiting function is in a period of transformation. You’ll play a meaningful role in helping modernize how we attract, engage, and hire talent while still delivering results day to day.

What you’ll need to bring to the table
• Has a working awareness of inclusive recruiting practices and shows curiosity and initiative in learning how to reduce bias and support equitable candidate experiences.
• At least 2 years of full-time recruiting experience recruiting licensed medical roles (e.g., Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Physicians, or similar)
• Experience recruiting in competitive or talent-scarce markets
• At least 1 year of hands-on sourcing experience, including: Proactively sourcing passive candidates, using multiple sourcing channels and tools (not just inbound applicants), building and maintaining long-term candidate pipelines
• Demonstrated experience managing and nurturing a pipeline over time (including follow-up, relationship-building, and re-engagement)
• Experience working as a member of a recruiting team
• At least 2 years of experience using an ATS in a recruiting capacity (posting jobs, managing candidates, tracking activity)
• Experience posting and managing jobs on platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, and other job boards
• Familiarity with CRM tools or candidate relationship management practices
• Basic knowledge of compliance and legal considerations related to hiring and candidate data
• Commitment to continuous learning (new sourcing strategies, recruiting technology, best practices, etc.)
• Residing in WA, OR, ID, MT, or NV

Physical Requirements
• Ability to work a desk-based role with extended screen time
• Ability to travel by air and car for recruiting events and career fairs
• Essential functions of this role include verbal communication with candidates and leaders via phone and video, written communication via email and text, and sustained use of digital systems and platforms, with or without reasonable accommodation.

You’ll really stand out if you also have
• 1+ year of experience recruiting Physical Therapists
• Experience recruiting for multi-site, or decentralized organizations
• Experience supporting or contributing to recruiting process improvements or modernization efforts
• Some familiarity with data tracking, recruiting metrics, and pipeline analytics

Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Pipeline Development (Major Focus)
• Proactively source Physical Therapists using a wide range of methods, including: Cold outreach (calls, texts, emails, LinkedIn, etc.), obtaining referrals and relationship-based sourcing, event-based and community sourcing
• Build, manage, and nurture long-term candidate pipelines, recognizing that PT recruiting is often a long game
• Maintain consistent, thoughtful follow-up with candidates over time
Recruiting & Hiring Support
• Manage requisitions for primarily clinic-based roles
• Conduct recruiter interviews to assess skills, motivations, and fit
• Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand needs and provide market insight
• Manage the offer process end-to-end, including coordination, negotiations, and communication
• Post, manage, and maintain job postings across multiple platforms
Relationship Building & Representation
• Build strong relationships with clinic leaders, internal partners, and other members of the Talent team
• Act as an ambassador of the organization at career fairs, networking events, and recruiting-related events
• Travel up to 15% for recruiting events (some air travel, some driving; most events require overnight stays)
Process Improvement & Change Support
• Operate effectively in a decentralized environment where processes are evolving
• Contribute to recruiting projects focused on modernization, standardization, and improved candidate experience
• Adapt to interim processes and tools while longer-term solutions are being developed
• Identify gaps, propose solutions, and support continuous improvement efforts

Characteristics for Success in This Role
• Strong sourcing mindset: energized by outreach, relationship-building, and thoughtful persistence
• Outgoing and approachable: highly comfortable initiating conversations with strangers at events
• Data-driven: uses metrics to guide priorities and improve outcomes
• Agile and adaptable: comfortable with change, ambiguity, and evolving processes
• Solutions-focused: identifies paths forward rather than dwelling on obstacles
• Quality-focused: prioritizes strong hires over volume
• Highly organized: strong time management, prioritization, and follow-through
• Critical thinker: able to assess situations and make sound judgment calls
• Diplomatic communicator: capable of navigating challenging conversations professionally
• Receptive to feedback: open to coaching and actively applies feedback to improve
• Trustworthy: maintains confidentiality with sensitive candidate and employee information

The compensation for this role is $75,000 base + performance based bonuses.
