Vacancy: Financial Controller – Husqvarna Benelux (Almere)

From our Benelux headquarters in Almere, our Finance Shared Service Center plays a crucial role in supporting all business operations. To strengthen this team, we are looking for a Financial Controller who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and is eager to contribute to continuous improvement.

As Financial Controller you ensure that our financial reporting and internal control landscape are robust, accurate, and future‑proof. You’ll collaborate closely with our SSC in Warsaw and act as a trusted partner to both finance leadership and business stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for financial/statistical reporting to institutions such as the Tax Authorities, Intrastat, Stichting Open and DNB

  • Control and analysis of the financial administration 'outsourced' to the SSC in Warsaw, identifying and advising on deviations

  • Assisting the Financial Control Manager and other Business Controllers with monthly closing, budget and ad hoc issues.

  • Coordinate the annual accounts processes and deliverables with the external accountant, Financial Control Manager and Country Officer.

  • Act as backup for the Manager Financial Control when needed, ensuring continuity in key tasks and decision-making.

  • Optimizing and formalizing the internal control processes

  • Responsible for maintaining  the Purchase to Pay process  

 

What you bring to Husqvarna

  • HBO degree and 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an (international) matrix organization.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a plus).

  • A team-oriented mindset, strong communication skills and proactive attitude.

  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn and ability to work independently.

  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Office; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.

This is a temporary position for 5 months (approximately from 1 March to 1 October).
