About the role
As a DevOps Azure Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of automation, platform reliability, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll work closely with product squads to build scalable and highly available systems, automate repetitive tasks, and support seamless platform migrations. From developing Infrastructure as Code to optimizing CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration, your work ensures robust DevOps practices across cloud and hybrid environments.
You’ll operate as an engineer, automation strategist, and trusted advisor to our clients, helping them streamline and future-proof their cloud-native infrastructure.
What kind of projects can you expect?
You’ll work on DevOps and platform engineering projects that power large-scale transformation. Examples include:

Platform automation – Designing and deploying automated provisioning pipelines across Azure (and optionally AWS/GCP).

Infrastructure migration – Moving legacy automation tooling from external suppliers to internal, cloud-native solutions.

CI/CD enablement – Building and maintaining pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.

Cloud-native architecture – Supporting hybrid environments spanning both cloud and on-prem infrastructure, with a focus on scalability and security.
You’ll collaborate with developers, platform engineers, cloud architects, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful, future-ready infrastructure.

Technical Skills

5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in enterprise or consultancy settings.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (must-have); AWS or GCP is a plus.

Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

Skilled in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Good understanding of cloud networking, access management, and platform security.

Exposure to monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
