As an Operational Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact dashboards, metrics and reporting across various operational teams. You will play a critical role in enabling real-time operational visibility and data-informed decision-making, supporting both daily execution and strategic planning initiatives. The analyst will work cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and quality teams, with a strong focus on data quality and continuity during our transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop and maintain critical operational metrics and key process indicators (KPIs) to support manufacturing, planning, and quality functions
• Create and manage visual dashboards to provide real time insight into operational performance using tools such as Power BI and Excel
• Provide analytical support for continuous improvement initiatives and projects to identify and prioritize optimization opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvements.
• Query and extract relevant data from ERP and other data sources using SQL or other relevant tools.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and alignment with operational goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop scalable reporting frameworks and templates to support future growth.
• Advise on data architecture and structure as systems evolve and new systems introduced, ensuring the right data is collected and accessible.
• Lead initiatives to improve data quality and governance, identifying gaps and implementing data validation processes.
• Train and support end-users in interpreting dashboard data and utilizing insights for decision-making.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

You are suited to our approach and possess these attributes:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in data analytics or reporting in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Advanced skills in Power BI, SQL and Excel.
• Highly analytic and data driven with the ability to organize data and derive conclusions
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining dashboards and reporting systems used by cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of operational process (manufacturing, supply chain) as well as key operations metrics (e.g., OEE, throughput, inventory turns, supplier performance).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft D365 or equivalent is a strong asset).
• Knowledge and experience working in the regulated manufacturing industry is an asset.
Compensation
Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs.
• $90,000 – 125,000 (CAD Annually)
