Senior Business Systems Analyst
Come and join our Vendor Management and Intake team as a Senior Business Systems Analyst! Our team provides technology solution consultative support to the organization through aligning user needs and requirements with available technology solutions. If you have an information technology background, experience with requirements gathering, and the ability to analyze technology solution capabilities, this may be the opportunity for you!
What Else Will You be Doing?
- Receiving and evaluating IT requests using ServiceNow and AgilePlace to include assessing request details, clarifying requirements and levels of effort, creating written assessments, and ensuring proper documentation in intake systems
- Conducting outreach to stakeholders and gathering and documenting business cases and high-level requirements
- Partnering with Architects, Procurement, Cyber, and other teams to provide technology consulting services, align technology solutions with business needs and strategy, and facilitate strategic decision-making regarding technology utilization
- Utilize and act as a subject matter expert on our Enterprise Architecture tool, which is used to capture enterprise applications, business capabilities, etc.
- Analyzing technology upgrade requests, reviewing existing documentation, and engaging technical and procurement resources
- Coordinating with supervisors and IT teams to ensure timely execution of approved requests and projects
- Communicating and documenting status, decisions, and next steps to requestors and stakeholders via email, Teams, and ServiceNow while ensuring all parties are informed throughout the process
Who You Are
- Experience working in an IT capacity or environment (e.g., information systems, architecture, technology support)
- Experience with technology requirements gathering
- Experience with technical writing
- Ability to become proficient in enterprise architecture web platforms
- Ability to assess technology solution capabilities
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or small amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions within an office working environment.
