What will your job look like
As a GCP – Cloud/DevOps Engineer with expertise in the Google Cloud Platform, you will be responsible for managing scalable data pipelines and solutions. Your work will enable seamless data flow and accessibility across our organization, empowering data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and contribute to the overall data strategy.
Additionally, you will create and maintain internal documentation for team reference and engage with cross-functional squads to drive features to completion, participating in the Release Train within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for effective delivery. Daily discussions with colleagues will allow you to explore solutions and refine processes while promoting a positive working environment.
You will also contribute to various testing types, including system, regression, interface, and end-to-end testing.

We are seeking an experienced Senior GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will act as a technical lead, collaborate with development and operations teams, and ensure seamless CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and security. Strong emphasis on reliability, automation, governance, and performance.
- Design, deploy, and operate scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL/Spanner, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Monitoring/Logging, IAM, VPC, Cloud DNS, Cloud Armor, Secret Manager).
- Strong knowledge on GCP core services (Compute, VPC Netwroking, IAM, Storage, Monitoring and Alerting)
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure code using Git, Cloud Build/CI, Cloud Deploy, Spinnaker, or equivalent tooling.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar; manage versioned, reproducible environments (dev/stage/prod).
- Architect and enforce observability: telemetry, logging, monitoring, alerts, tracing; implement SLOs/SLIs and runbooks.
- Automate deployment, testing, and release processes; ensure zero-downtime deployments and blue/green or canary strategies where appropriate.
- Manage containerization and orchestration with GKE; optimize cluster performance, security, scaling, and cost.
- Establish strong security and compliance practices: IAM, network security, VPC design, secrets management, encryption, and audit trails.
- Drive reliability initiatives: incident response, post-mortems, automation of remediation, disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable cloud architectures.
- Optimize costs and performance; implement monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Mentor junior engineers, perform code reviews, and promote best practices in DevOps, security, and reliability.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and architectural diagrams.
- Stay current with Google Cloud updates and DevOps tooling trends; advocate for improvements and modernization initiatives.
Skills we do like:
- Certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD), or other relevant cloud certifications.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with data pipeline tooling and data governance considerations in a DevOps context.
- Experience with cost optimization frameworks and FinOps practices.
