About the role

We’re seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our People Services team.

In this permanent role, you’ll act as the go-to subject matter expert, providing strategic HR guidance and operational support across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and support on all HR matters including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
  • Lead and support day-to-day HR operational functions such as onboarding/offboarding, HR database management, leave processing, and reporting.
  • Partner with leaders to investigate and resolve employee and industrial relations issues, ensuring positive outcomes and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation including Fair Work, industrial relations, and Work Health & Safety requirements.
  • Act as a trusted HR point-of-contact for employees, addressing queries and supporting organisational initiatives. 

The job will be full time, with hours to be worked between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.

About the person

  • Minimum 7+ years’ HR experience, with a strong background in generalist HR.
  • Proven capabilities in industrial relations, employment law (Fair Work Act), and workplace compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline (e.g., Bachelor’s degree).
