Job Overview:
The Data Scientist will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating data models and AI components within the Synaptix™ AIOps platform.
This role ensures model accuracy, scalability, and reliability to support intelligent IT operations, predictive insights, and governed AI use cases for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain machine learning and statistical models supporting Synaptix AIOps use cases (e.g., anomaly detection, prediction, classification).
Translate business and operational requirements into data science problems and model approaches.
Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and data quality validation to ensure reliable model inputs.
Build, evaluate, and optimize models with clear performance metrics (accuracy, precision/recall, latency, stability).
Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure smooth integration into the platform.
Support model deployment, monitoring, and retraining strategies to maintain performance in production.
Document model logic, assumptions, limitations, and validation results for internal governance and auditability.
Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders to explain model behavior and recommendations.
Contribute to improving AI standards, best practices, and reusable components within Synaptix.
Key Requirements:
From 3 years of experience in Data Science or Applied Machine Learning.
Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and model evaluation.
Hands-on experience in data exploration, feature engineering, and data quality validation.
Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries.
Experience working with production or platform ML systems and cross-functional teams.
Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and explain model behavior clearly.
Familiarity with model documentation, monitoring, and retraining in enterprise environments.
Nice to Have
Experience with AIOps, IT Operations data
Familiarity with cloud environments or large-scale data platforms.
Understanding of explainable AI and enterprise AI governance."
