In Bratislava within the Telco industry, we are actively seeking for an experienced Security Engineer with deep technical background in Linux security and container technologies. You will be responsible for designing and implementing security solutions and integrating security into the entire application and infrastructure lifecycle.

This is you
• 3+ years of practical experience with Linux system administration and hardening
• SELinux/AppArmor policies and their implementation
• Kernel hardening, secure boot, system update strategies
• Advanced auditd, integrity monitoring (AIDE, OSSEC)
• Automation using Bash and Python
• Security configuration of server applications (Apache/Nginx, OpenSSH, databases)
• Advanced Unix shell scripting and automation using Python (or another suitable language)
• Advanced Git (CI/CD integration, code review, branching workflow)
• Ability to perform basic security code review, orientation in foreign code (in common languages) and its modification (vulnerability fixes, patch application)
• Build process – recompilation with patched libraries, backport security fixes, creation of custom packages/containers
• SBOM analysis and dependency audit
• Deep understanding of the L3-L7 network stack
• Network segmentation and zero-trust architecture
• TLS/mTLS, PKI, and certificate management
• Firewall configuration and management (iptables/nftables, network firewalls)
• VPN technologies (IPsec, WireGuard)
This is your role
Design and implementation of hardening standards for Linux and containers
Implementation of PAM/PIM solutions and privileged access management
Integration of SAST/DAST/SBOM into CI/CD pipelines
Ownership of the vulnerability management process
Penetration testing of infrastructure and applications
Incident response and security audits

The basic salary component from 4000 EUR gross per month - the exact amount of the salary depends on the actual knowledge and experience, qualifications and expertise of the candidate
