Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting while supporting process improvements and clinic integrations. This role partners closely with Operations, Office Managers, and cross-functional business partners and will also provide leadership and guidance to staff accountants.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train staff accountants to ensure timely and accurate monthly close and reporting
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Partner with Office Managers and Operations teams to research and resolve accounting issues
- Collaborate with internal business partners to support the integration of newly acquired clinics
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and special initiatives as needed
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting and/or industry
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
