About this role

At AROA, our people come to work every day with passion and ideas that fuel our business and go home knowing they have made a real difference in the lives of others.

We develop, manufacture, and export innovative wound care products, improving the lives of millions around the world by unlocking extraordinary outcomes for our patients. Our mission is to be the global leader in regenerative healing, making our products and services accessible to everybody.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Systems Engineer to play a key role in maintaining AROA’s Quality Management System. Partnering closely with teams across the business, you’ll provide guidance on regulatory compliance, audits, supplier quality, complaint handling, and CAPA. This is a 9-month fixed-term role covering parental leave.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Support external audits and regulatory inspections
  • Manage supplier qualification, monitoring, performance, and complex supplier quality issues
  • Oversee complaint handling processes, including investigations, trend analysis, root cause identification, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Facilitate and drive the CAPA process, ensuring effectiveness and continuous improvement
  • Develop and use quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Provide QMS training and act as a key quality partner across cross-functional teams

What you’ll bring
You’ll have a degree in engineering, quality, or a related discipline, along with 3+ years’ experience in a quality role within a regulated (ideally medical device) environment. You’ll bring hands-on experience with QMS, audits, supplier quality, CAPA, and complaint handling, and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.

You’re confident representing quality in audits and inspections, comfortable working through complex problems, and able to translate regulatory requirements into
practical, value adding solutions. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and project management skills will be key to success in this role.
