The Financial Analyst will serve as an analytical engine for the company, translating business drivers into financial insights that inform optimal decision-making. This individual will work collaboratively across functions to understand strategic challenges and link operational activities with financial results.

What you’ll achieve:
Financial Modeling & Analysis
• Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models supporting growth initiatives, strategic planning, and operational decision-making
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures across product lines
• Monitor KPIs, highlight trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances
• Prepare acquisition and investment models with IRR and other return metrics as needed
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely recommendations to management
Forecasting & Budgeting
• Maintain and update rolling forecast models based on assumptions from senior management
• Support annual budgeting process development, operating plan, and continuous improvement of modeling tools
• Track budgets and burn rates across multiple grants and contracts
Reporting & Insights
• Prepare Board of Directors and Senior Management presentations with clear financial narratives
• Build, implement, and maintain dashboard reports that surface actionable insights
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic decisions
• Support Senior Management Team and department heads with in-depth analysis
• Partner with the CFO to develop financial reports that inform decision-making
Process Improvement
• Evaluate processes to drive efficiencies and improve ROI visibility across product lines, marketing initiatives, and new projects
• Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and accuracy
• Support implementation of best practices using existing financial tools
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar analytical role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations
- Understanding of GAAP principles and financial statement analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy
- Inquisitive mindset with willingness to learn
- Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and work collaboratively in a hands-on capacity
Bonus points if you:
- Experience with AI tools
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Bill.com
- Experience in healthcare, public health, or tech environments
- Experience with project-based accounting
- Data analytics experience
