
About this role
Essential Responsibilities
- Design enterprise workflows and interfaces that optimize healthcare revenue cycle management, integrating AI-driven features such as predictive analytics, automated claims processing, and intelligent data validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers) to identify opportunities for AI enablement and streamline healthcare financial processes.
- Develop high-quality design assets (wireframes, user journeys, prototypes, personas, service blueprints) that demonstrate the impact of AI on revenue cycle tasks.
- Adhere to design system standards by implementing the right UI components and design patterns.
- Facilitate workshops and foster design thinking to encourage adoption of AI solutions across teams.
- Advocate for the user by ensuring AI features are accessible, transparent, and enhance the overall experience for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Maintain attention to detail through multiple design iterations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.
- Present and articulate design decisions, emphasizing the value of AI in improving outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Builds rapport to initiate and participate in cross-org collaboration - Storytelling, keenly articulating design decisions, advocating the design perspective
- Participates in workshops and fosters design thinking in cross-functional, collaborative workgroups
Experience Level
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Proven experience designing for enterprise healthcare applications, with a focus on revenue cycle management (claims, billing, payment posting, denials management, etc.).
- Demonstrated expertise in integrating AI technologies (machine learning, natural language processing, automation) into product design.
- Proficiency with Figma and other design tools.
- Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and emotional intelligence; able to build positive relationships and advocate for design and AI perspectives.
- Portfolio showcasing AI-enabled design solutions in healthcare or related industries.
- Ability to travel up to 20%
