As a Junior IT Support Specialist, you will be part of our in-house IT team, providing hands-on technical support to employees across Singapore and the region. You will assist with endpoint device deployment, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and routine operational tasks under the guidance of senior team members. This role offers great learning opportunities and exposure to regional and global IT initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with endpoint device deployment, setup, and lifecycle management.
- Provide desktop and remote support for employees, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Perform basic system administration tasks under supervision.
- Assist in routine server room checks, inventory updates, and scheduled maintenance.
- Monitoring desktops, network devices, peripherals, and assisting with resolving issues.
- Support software installations, updates, and system maintenance activities.
- Participate in IT asset management, documentation, and regular health checks.
- Troubleshoot and escalate issues to senior engineers or vendors when required.
- Support IT-related projects with the Regional and Global IT teams.
- Handle ad-hoc IT tasks and provide on-site event/AV support when needed.
Requirement:
Higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support.
Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows/macOS), Microsoft Office, software installation, and general troubleshooting.
Foundational understanding of networks, servers, and system administration is a plus.
Familiarity with event support or AV equipment will be an advantage.
Professional certifications such as ITIL or CompTIA A+ are beneficial but not required.
Good communication skills, customer service mindset, and ability to work collaboratively.
Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with guidance and support from senior team members.
