Junior ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) Data Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid 50%)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours
Purpose
As a Junior ESG Data Analyst, you’ll support reporting, analysis, and data quality initiatives within the Responsible Investment and Group Sustainability teams. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, data-heavy environment, with the flexibility of hybrid working.

Key responsibilities
Data extraction & preparation: Collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from internal systems and external providers using local/cloud tools.
Reporting & visualisation: Building and maintaining dashboards and reports in Power BI and/or Tableau
Data quality monitoring: Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity across data sources. Using analytics to challenge the outputs of the data
Stakeholder collaboration: Turning business questions into clear, actionable insights
Continuous improvement: Streamlining reporting processes and improving access to data
What we’re looking for
Strong Excel skills and advanced SQL knowledge or other query language.
Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau (essential)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
A degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
Passion for Sustainability and ESG
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages
- Knowledge of ETL (Extract,Transform, Load) processes or data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- An interest in data-driven technology environments
