We are looking for an experienced Senior Analog Designer to take a role of analog technical lead and to join our ASIC Design Team in Vantaa, Finland.
What is our core in Murata Finland?
We are developing leading edge gyroscope and accelerometer safety-critical sensors for global automotive, industrial and healthcare markets. We design full custom mixed mode ASICs from concept level to volume production including wafer level testing. Global megatrends, such as digitalization and aging populations, are driving demand for advanced sensing solutions. We see the future full of new opportunities – from robotics and drones to humanoids and other exciting applications.
How about the role?
In analog technical lead role you will take responsibility of a specific ASIC design area and become an expert on that. You work together with a small group of designers leading their design activities and providing support for them. As a technical lead you will also work closely with ASIC PM, other technical leads and stake holders in ASIC project.
Your main responsibility areas are:
- Technical lead for a specific ASIC design area:
- Interface ASIC for MEMS gyroscope, accelerometer or other MEMS product (experience on MEMS ASIC’s is not mandatory).
- Including modules like: bandgap, LDO, PLL, ADC, DAC, different SC-circuits, high voltage circuits.
- ASIC specification and system description.
- ASIC design, verification and reporting.
- Characterization specifications and result analysis.
- Support for production wafer test and result analysis.
- Technical support of the design area in question for all stake holders.
In order to be successful in this role, these are the expected qualities and skills:
- Technical education (e.g. M.Sc., Ph.D. or D.Sc.) with emphasis on microelectronics.
- 5+ years of experience on analog ASIC design and some experience of technical lead.
- Task management skills and leadership skills.
- Understanding and knowhow of the common analog blocks such as:
- VBG, LDO, amplifiers, ADC, DAC, oscillators and filters.
- Basic understanding of the digital signal processing.
- Knowhow of both continuous and switched capacitor circuits.
- Experience of EDA tools and mixed signal design flows.
- Proactive, systematic, and careful way of working.
- Fluent communication in English.
- Good communication skills in order to understand various requirements and communicate with external partners and internal teams.
- Innovative mindset and interest in working in an international environment.
After you gain experience on Murata ASIC projects you have the opportunity to advance in your career to a project manager role.
The position is a full-time, permanent position. Work can be started flexibly. We offer a flexible hybrid work culture that supports different ways of working. Remote work is possible depending on the nature of the tasks and project status while the role also requires regular on-site presence.
