General Summary

We are looking for an energetic self-starter to join the Product Management team. This opportunity is for a very visible, high impact position that will have broad responsibility for a flagship lending brand within a fast-growing company.  You will be responsible for leading a cross functional team to achieve key operating metrics by developing roadmaps, identifying priority initiatives and partnering with teams across the organization to drive results.  This position must develop and launch programs and features that create and maintain a competitive position in the market. 

Ultimately, you are accountable for driving profitable business growth.  The successful candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and naturally curious.  This individual should also be a strategic thinker with experience in strategy development and execution. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and drive the roadmap for both an installment and line of credit product
  • Understand and own product performance and metrics:
    • Financial performance and projections
    • Marketing data and trends
    • Risk analysis
    • Customer support metrics
  • Drive significant business and technology initiatives in a cross functional environment
    • Coordinate with internal partners from Marketing, Legal, Risk and Technology teams
    • Build and strengthen relationships with internal and external partners
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and financial success
  • Manage all aspects of the product development lifecycle including research, proposals, prioritization, implementation and post launch maintenance

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance – graduate degree is a plus, but not required
  • 5+ years of product management experience - preferably for an Internet/e-commerce property or a financial services firm.
  • Proven track record of delivering product releases on time with measurable impact to key business metrics

  • Management experience of both internal employees and external partners a plus
