How You’ll Make an Impact 

As a Product Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, responsible for managing and optimizing Lubrizol Fluid Engineering product lines within the region. You would be developing product positioning, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management to ensure profitability and market competitiveness. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable & innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will: 

1. Product Support
    Develop clear product positioning, value propositions, and messaging to differentiate Lubrizol’s offerings from competitors
    Management of assigned product line (s), including:
o    Ensure volume forecasts align with market trends.
o    Oversee product, pricing, and promotional strategies
o    Make informed price/volume decisions and monitor product margins.
    Develop and manage an efficient pricing structure that ensures business targets are met
    Support in developing business cases and anchor all regional investment plans
    Develop tools and processes to optimize the product portfolio
    Conduct competitor analysis and manage comparative performance claims
    Collaborate with account teams to ensure customer needs are met
    Support the annual STRAP process with product line volume input
    Work closely with Technology to maintain claims and approvals in the region and support the R&D team in the development of new products/ solutions or improve existing ones.
    Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and profitability
    Work closely with technical deployment to ensure technical needs are understood
 
2. Marketing Communications & Marketing
•    Work with Marketing to develop regional communications, promotional programs, and marketing materials
•    Define, communicate, and implement the regional product line strategy
•    Collaborate with Strategic Marketing to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics to guide product development and positioning.
 
3. Sales Support
•    Partner with the regional sales team to execute growth initiatives and achieve annual sales targets
•    Attend customer meetings to support account managers
•    Provide product line expertise at key accounts through visits, presentations, training, and commercial support for technical projects
•    Analyze customer and competitor value propositions to identify threats and convert market changes into growth opportunities
•    Assist sales teams with contract management, competitive product analysis, pricing, and margin reviews
 


Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

    Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field.
    5+ years of proven track record in product management, pricing strategy, and lifecycle management within industrial lubricants, chemicals, or related sectors.
    Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
    Techno-commercial mindset with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
    Travel: Regional/ Global travel as required.
