Are you looking to develop your career in Finance? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our fast-paced team at London Heathrow.As the Assistant Accountant, you will assist in the financial close and ensure that it is complete each month within the scheduled timeframe and ensure that the numbers reported to Group are accurate. This is a varied role, where you will be producing financial analysis and partnering with the management & financial accountants along with other areas in the business.

Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:-
- Assisting with the preparation of revenue recognition (billing)
- Assisting with fixed assets management and capital purchases/ leasing
- Assisting with the preparation of accruals
- Reconciling with the bank and allocations of receipts
- Posting payments and bacs runs
- You will assist in identifying process improvements and seek system enhancements to improve efficiencies
To be successful in this role you will need:-
- An accounting degree or relevant experience for the role
- Currently studying towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification
- Previous accounting experience and exposure to month end within a corporate environment
- Must possess strong excel skills including vlookups, pivot tables and basic powerpoint skills
