Purpose of Job

  • This role serves as the strategic bridge between Finance and the Supply Chain (Procurement, Contracted Manufacturing, Logistics), driving holistic cost optimization and efficiency through TCO modelling, investment decision support and cost analytics, ensuring company sustainable profit growth and operation compliance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • 1.     Drive the TCO (total cost ownership) project rollout and streamline strategic cost management mechanism
  • Guide TCO task owners to develop operational roadmap to ensure each milestone’s timely delivery
  • Monitor and track the TCO project initiative execution and realization, regular share out the implementation status
  • Integrate the cost management mechanism and analytical insights into the sectional review meeting
  •  
  • 2. Develop and Refine Inflation, Cost Saving and Avoidance Guidance and Governance Process
  • Set-up the inflation guidance mechanism
  • Develop the cost saving and avoidance operational guidance for rollout
  • Lead the cost saving target population, calibration and cascading
  • Partnership to drive cost saving pipelines sufficiency and target realization
  •  
  • 3.     Partnership to develop the product “Should Cost” rollout plan and create the database as the guidance and benchmark for RFQ
  • Develop the project guiding principle and executable rollout plan
  • Align the price quotation breakdown granularity and scope
  • Develop the reconciliation guidance to ensure the database reliability
  • Validate and reset by volume by price tier

  • 4.     Lead for the business case financial evaluation and risk assessment
  • Evaluate the supply community capital investment for capacity expansion and cost saving initiatives
  • Evaluate and dynamic optimize the supply network which react to the product cost difference, tariff and landing cost evolution
  • Evaluate the product design optimization, production schedule change, shipment route and frequency optimization proposal

  • 5.     Ensure Compliance and Control in place, and continue to drive process excellence
  • Diagnosis and identify the control weakness and process deficiency and monitor the remediation execution
  • Navigate the technology and tools to improve team’s synergy and productivity

Education/Knowledge/Experience

  • Minimum request:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in full scope strategy costing analysis role covers in house plant, contract manufactory and logistics FP&A/BP role
  • Solid project management experience
  • Big 4 or MT combined with MNC background will be plus
  • Good communication and business influence skill in both English & Chinese

  • A self-starter, who independently looks for where they can add value in a dynamic environment
  • Can do attitude with critical thinking and analytical focus, fully engaged from plan to execution in an agile way
  • Ability to work autonomously as a key member across finance and cross functional teams
  • Demonstrate the mature leadership skills for managing and influencing cross-functional team

  • Relevant knowledge demand:
  • Solid supply chain operation and finance knowledge
  • Strong FP&A and BP skills to drive value-added analysis and influence decision making
  • End to end successful costing related project implementation experience
  • Familiar with the ERP system (SAP) and sound knowledge of MS Excel,Power BI
The base salary range for this role is listed above.  Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.’s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals. In addition, e.l.f. provides a variety of other benefits to employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. The amount of total compensation (including base salary) offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including geographic location, experience, specific skills, and qualifications. Compensation components are subject to change at the company’s discretion
