The Technical Lead - SAP ABAP will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring the development team, ensuring efficient and effective ABAP development across SAP landscapes. This role involves collaborating with functional and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions, optimize performance, and maintain SAP best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the ABAP development team.
  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure ABAP solutions.
  • Ensure ABAP developments adhere to SAP best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with functional and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
  • Optimize ABAP code for performance and maintainability.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and incorporate them into development practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to ABAP development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including OOP concepts, BAPIs, and RFCs.
  • Experience with SAP UI technologies like Fiori, SAPUI5, or Web Dynpro is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Good understanding of SAP architecture and integration concepts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.
