About this role

Lead and mentor a team of back-end developers, providing technical guidance and support. Design end-to-end solution architecture for ingestion, data unification, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation. Lead technical discovery sessions to identify data sources, integration patterns, and downstream activation needs. Oversee development across data pipelines, APIs, connectors, transformations, and orchestration components. Oversee the development of server-side logic, definition and maintenance of databases, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Define and document the enterprise 360 data model, mapping logic, metadata standards, and governance framework. Design and implement robust back-end architectures that support the scalability and performance requirements of web applications. Collaborate with CRM, marketing, analytics, and data engineering teams to ensure unified data design supports all use cases. Conduct code reviews, solution reviews, and technical validations to maintain architecture quality. Troubleshoot and debug applications, optimizing code for performance and scalability. Keep abreast of emerging back-end technologies and frameworks and assess their value for current and future projects. Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy regulations, and security policies. Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including system architecture and design specifications. Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline deployment and operation processes. Act as a technical point of contact for back-end development issues and queries.

Requirements

Competencies

  • Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with a track record of successful project delivery. Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring development teams. Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including ingestion, data modeling, identity resolution, calculated insights, and activation workflows. Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem architecture across Sales, Service, Marketing/MCAE, Experience Cloud, and MuleSoft. Proven experience leading technical delivery of large-scale customer 360 or enterprise data platform initiatives. Expertise with data integration tools and technologies (MuleSoft, APIs, Kafka, ETL/ELT tools). Strong grasp of data governance, consent management, privacy standards, and enterprise security. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and scalable data storage/processing technologies. Strong understanding of schema design, metadata frameworks, and high-volume data processing practices.

Skill Set

  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git. Strong understanding of server-side logic and scalability issues. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
