Description
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Compile, analyze and report financial data.
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
Maintain accurate financial records.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.
Remain informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
Provide back-up support to other accounting/finance/AP department positions.
Maintain integrity and accuracy in financial transactions and reports.
Maintain understanding of accounting and financial practices and regulations
Requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
No minimum amount of accounting experience is needed.
Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
