PRIORITY Quality Consultants is seeking an Assistant Accountant for a maternity cover position. The role will support the financial operations within a dynamic team, and is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to enhance their accounting skills in a thriving consulting environment.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this role will include:
- Manage daily invoicing and billing operations.
- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable, bank transactions, and other accounting entries.
- Maintain a well-organized digital filing system for corporate documents and supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and general ledgers.
- Process invoices and handle accounts payable activities.
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely payments and manage collections.
- Perform general administrative duties in support of the Finance Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, with strong emphasis on Excel.
- Good knowledge of Greek GAAP.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- High level of confidentiality and professional integrity.
- Willingness to learn and pursue continuous professional development.
- Military obligations fulfilled (for male applicants).
