Position Description:
IT Manager - Identity and Access Management for Medtronic, Inc. located in Mounds View, MN. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects related to cybersecurity. Lead the global team of technical staff responsible for authentication and privileged access management engineering and operations. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of IT cybersecurity projects. Responsible for the selection, development, implementation, operations, and coordination of Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies deployed within the organization. Provide technical ownership for key security technologies as a part of IAM. Provide solutions design, delivery and ensure operational fitness of the systems through support, monitoring, response and system patching. Provide expertise in IT Security principles, policies, technical solutions and best practices related to IAM. Manage the design, implementation and support of all IAM technologies used at Medtronic, such as CA Identity Manager, CyberArk, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, Transmit Security. Manage the design, implementation and support of Directory & Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) – Active Directory, CA Directory, SunONE & Oracle Directory Server, and Radiant One Virtual Directory. Utilize Web Services to include Rest and SOAP. Utilize WebLogic and Tomcat application servers. Provide expertise on IAM technical standards, protocols, and concepts in the identity space such as OpenID Connect, OAuth, SAML 2.0, SCIM, and Identity user repositories. Manage API coordination and associated security concepts. Leverage experience with ServiceNow (ITSM) and Splunk. Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback. Coordinate recruitment or selection of project personnel. Relocation assistance not available for this position.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors’ Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering or related engineering or technical field and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as an IT Cybersecurity specialist/consultant or related occupation. Must possess at least five (5) years’ experience with each of the following: IT Security for IAM; Design, implement and support of IAM technologies; Identity Management – CA Identity Manager, CyberArk, or Microsoft Azure AD; Active Directory and CA Directory/Oracle Directory Server; Rest and SOAP; WebLogic and Tomcat application servers; SAML2.0, OpendID Connect, OAuth, and SCIM; API coordination and associated security concepts; ServiceNow (ITSM) and Splunk,
Position works a hybrid model and will be onsite in Mounds View, MN 4 days per week.
The position is located at Medtronic, Inc., 8200 Coral Sea Street NE, Mounds View, MN 55112.
Salary: $148,000 to $199,200 per year.
