About this role

The social sector—particularly elderly care—is facing enormous challenges across Europe: demographic change, a shortage of skilled workers, and increasing cost pressure. CareMates is an AI-powered CRM for the care sector and one of the newest and most innovative products of the myneva Group. With CareMates, care providers reduce the administrative effort required to onboard new clients, patients, and residents by up to four hours per intake—creating more time for what truly matters.

As a Product Owner (m/f/d), you support the founder of CareMates in defining, further developing, and successfully launching CareMates features with a strong user focus. You work closely with users, developers, and internal stakeholders to identify, structure, and translate requirements into clear and actionable input for engineering. In doing so, you take on classic requirements engineering tasks, drive product discovery, create technically sound and user-centered tickets, and ensure excellent handovers to development teams. In addition, you support go-lives through configuration activities and onboarding assistance. The goal is to maintain a consistent, high-quality product backlog that delivers real customer value.

  • You conduct product discovery activities such as user interviews, workshops, and observations to understand user and business requirements.

  • You analyze, structure, and prioritize requirements together with the CareMates founder and relevant stakeholders.

  • You create and maintain detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog tickets in close collaboration with the engineering team.

  • You facilitate backlog grooming and refinement sessions with the Product Owner and developers.

  • You continuously validate requirements based on user feedback and iteratively improve them.

  • You support the configuration, testing, and rollout of new features and actively accompany go-lives.

  • You work closely with Customer Success and Onboarding teams to provide and continuously improve product-related training and onboarding materials.

  • You bring several years of experience in requirements engineering, business analysis, product management, or a comparable role within agile product teams.
  • You are familiar with product discovery methods as well as user-centered ways of working and user-centric design approaches.
  • You have experience in writing clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • You communicate confidently and in a structured manner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are able to bring together different perspectives.
  • You have a strong affinity for software and SaaS products, ideally in a startup environment.
  • You work in a self-organized, analytical, and proactive manner and maintain a clear overview even when dealing with complex topics.
  • You are fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
  • A meaningful and responsible role: We develop software to digitize social services, enabling our customers to focus on improving the lives of their clients by freeing up more time for care and support.
  • A hybrid working model with attractive office hours and no shift or weekend work
  • Exciting, challenging tasks in a dynamic, future-oriented environment
  • A culture of appreciation and a harmonious working atmosphere in a growing, international company with opportunities to get involved
  • A creative working environment, flat hierarchies, and short decision-making processes
  • Attractive compensation models, a permanent employment contract, and employer contributions to your company pension plan
  • Access to corporate benefits, JobRad leasing, and other mobility offers such as a fully financed Germany-wide train ticket
  • Opportunity to learn about the product through training courses and user days, as well as free access to Babbel to improve your English skills
