We are seeking a QA Engineer to develop, maintain, and execute Functional & automated test scripts to ensure software quality. You will work as part of an Agile team to deliver high-quality software and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for writing and implementing automated tests to validate software functionality. You will collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective test solutions. One should be able to work independently with no/minimal support on tech/teste case writing.
Job Responsibilities
- Test case development (Functional & Automation): Create and execute test cases for functionality and Automation.
- Test Executions (Functional & Automation): Development and Execution of automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct performance testing and load testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling (as needed)
- Having knowledge on Python (Added Advantage)
- User Interface (UI) and user experience (UX) testing: Check for proper formatting, alignment, and overall usability of the reports and dashboards.
- Cross-browser and cross-platform testing: Ensure reports display correctly on different browsers and devices.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, document, and help resolve bugs and issues found during testing.
- Collaboration: Work with developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.
Required skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in programming language (Java Script, Python- Optional).
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks Selenium (Good to have JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber).
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Good on data analysis & analytics
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured (a plus).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of SQL for data verification and validation.
