Job Description
The Regional Digital Marketing Manager – Americas plays a critical role in elevating MSC’s digital presence across one of its most commercially important regions. Based in Montreal and reporting to both regional marketing leadership and the Global Head of Digital Marketing, this role leads the digital agenda across North, Central, and South America as well as the Caribbean.
You will drive data driven digital marketing initiatives that enhance customer engagement, strengthen brand visibility, and support commercial growth across diverse markets. As the region accelerates its digital transformation, you will shape how MSC connects with customers through modern, performance focused digital channels. Acting as the regional digital expert, you will collaborate closely with global, regional, and local teams to optimize how MSC attracts, converts, and retains customers—ensuring consistency, efficiency, and measurable impact across all markets.

Drive innovation, and improving processes in domain. May have direct reports. Coaching, reviewing and may delegate work to lower-level professionals. Sets goals and objectives for self/team for achievement of operational results. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
Key Tasks
- In line with the Global Marketing strategy, contribute to the digital marketing strategy and make a significant contribution in setting and delivering the Region’s Marketing Plan through targeted digital marketing campaigns / communication
- Recommend and deliver the Region’s digital marketing strategy to ensure of compelling and timely campaigns across multiple digital platforms e.g. SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising following the global guidelines
- Identify trends and insights and adapt quickly to optimize campaign spend and performance including the planning, execution and measurement of digital marketing and conversion tests
- Implement digital and trigger communications across the customer journey
- Manage website (msc.com) changes on behalf of the Region, in line with Global Marketing website policy
- Ensure all the Region’s digital marketing / communications are compliant and in line with external communication policies
- In line with Global Marketing empowerment levels, sign-off digital marketing communications requests for the Region
- Contribute to regional CRM and data enrichment efforts to support segmentation and targeting.
- Lead digital marketing best practice across all agencies in the Americas region and eradicate inefficiencies
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the digital elements of the Global Marketing Strategy
- Contribute to the customer data requirements (including data compliance) to enable digital implementation across the whole region
- Build close working relationships with the Global Marketing Digital Team and other Regional Marketing Teams including attendance to regular digital marketing meetings
- Demonstrate ROI of digital marketing investment for the Region Marketing Region.
Qualifications
Skills / Experience:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferably marketing or business related).
- In-depth knowledge in Digital Marketing delivery – with Marketing Management experience in a similar role in a customer-focused organization.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- SEO and website content management - CMS Sitecore knowledge is a plus
- Email marketing and CRM platforms – MS Dynamics is a plus
- Google Analytics 4
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Current with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
- Strong inter-personal skills to build relationships work effectively with employees at various levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ease and to make decisions and good judgment even in stressful situations.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a critical attention to detail.
- Be able to prioritize and meet deadlines while working on multiple projects, and have creative problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English. Spanish and French are a plus.
