Job Description/Responsibilities

The EU Assistant Brand Manager for Shot’s supports the execution of brand-building plans across Europe, working closely with the European Brand Manager, Sales teams, Global Marketing, agencies, and trade partners. This role is ideal for a high-potential marketer looking to accelerate their development by gaining hands-on experience across brand planning, campaign execution, commercial alignment, and performance tracking within a fast-paced, high-growth spirits business. The Assistant Brand Manager plays a critical role in bringing plans to life, ensuring programs are executed on time, on budget, and to brand standards, while developing the skills required to progress into a Brand Manager role. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Brand Execution & Campaign Delivery 

  • Support the execution of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) initiatives across priority European markets. 
  • Assist in the localization and rollout of paid, earned, and owned communication toolkits, including creative assets, media, PR, social, and BTL activations. 
  • Help manage campaign timelines, asset delivery, and execution tracking through the Campaign Management System (CMS). 
  • Ensure brand assets are correctly used and protected across all markets and activations. 

 

Commercial & Sales Alignment 

  • Work closely with Sales and Shopper Marketing teams to support trade initiatives. 
  • Assist in the development and delivery of trade marketing tools to support commercial execution. 
  • Support market requests, presentations, and brand materials required to land AOP priorities in market. 

 

Brand Performance & Analysis 

  • Track monthly brand KPIs and support monthly reporting 
  • Assist with pre- and post-analysis of campaigns and initiatives to evaluate effectiveness and ROI. 
  • Conduct consumer, shopper, and competitor research to identify insights, opportunities, and friction points along the path to purchase. 
  • Support the identification of gaps versus volume targets and assist in action planning to close them. 

 

Planning & Brand Development 

  • Support the European Brand Manager in the development of Brand Plans and Annual Marketing Plans (AMP). 
  • Contribute to longer-term (3–5 year) thinking by gathering insights, trends, and learning from markets. 
  • Assist with New Business Development (NBD) projects, including coordination with Global teams, R&D, Supply Chain, and agencies. 

 

Budgeting & Administration 

  • Raise purchase orders, track invoices, and support budget management and accrual tracking. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure marketing spend is tracked against plan. 

 

Learning, Development & Ways of Working 

  • Actively work on personal development objectives aligned to progression into a Brand Manager role. 
  • Engage with feedback, coaching, and development planning via our Development System.
  • Develop strong workflow management, prioritization, and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant Business or Marketing experience
  • Exposure to campaign execution, project management, or trade marketing. 
  • Familiarity with budget tracking or marketing finance processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proactive, self-starting mindset with a desire to learn and grow.

  • Solid analytical and administrative capability.

  • Strong computer literacy and confidence using systems and tools.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally across the UK and Europe.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in FMCG or Alcohol Beverage industry.
  • Early exposure to regulated or compliance-led categories.
