Job Summary 
At NielsenIQ, it is important for us to be connected in many ways.  As part of the Global Employee Experience Shared Service Center, the Employee Experience Financial Analyst will play a critical role in overseeing all financial operations within the SSC. This role ensures accurate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, third party payments and reporting to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.  The role reports directly into the Global EE leader support our Global Employee Experience function at NielsenIQ. 

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Perform all aspects of the third-party Employee Experience payable function by matching purchase orders to invoices and entering the invoices into financial system(s) according to NielsenIQ’s policies. 
  • Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense tracking for SSC operations. 
  • Ensure accurate allocation of costs across HR SSC services and projects. 
  • Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements. 
  • Collaborate with HR SSC leadership and cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Procurement) to align financial strategies with business objectives. 
  • Ensures day-to-day Employee Experience financial transactions are timely recorded, documented, reviewed and supported in accordance with NielsenIQ’s policies and SOX controls.  
  • Perform month-end closing activities including expense accruals, journal entries and supporting schedules/analysis.  
  • Prepare the reconciliation of Employee Experience payables-related general ledger accounts in accordance with NielsenIQ’s policies. 
  • Ensure they partner well with the Employee Experience owners to deliver the financials pertaining to the monthly and year-end review processes. 
  • Support with Finance and Employee Experience queries  
  • Prepare Employee Experience financial and ad hoc reports as required 
  • Build positive relationships to ensure successful collaborations to be able to respond to internal Employee Experience questions, and handle ad-hoc Employee Experience requests. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency. 
  • Implement best practices for financial management within shared services. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting | Finance | Administration 
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of operational and/or accounting experience for a multinational company 
  • Attention to detail, professional awareness, and sense of urgency; be able to spot errors or exceptions quickly 
  • Able to demonstrate a strong ability to absorb multiple country regulations and complexities 
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator 
  • SAP AP/ Workday experience a plus. 
  • English proficiency (advanced level).
