The VELUX Group is a global company with manufacturing and sales operations in more than 40 countries. This opportunity as Business finance analyst is based in our Production Company in Namysłów, Poland, and it is within Global Finance organization with close connection to Supply organization


Taking up this position, you will join a matrix organization, where you will become a Business Partner characterized by close business integration and collaboration. At the same you will be part of a Global Finance organization, gaining the advantages of a global finance strategy, a high professional bar and shared data systems and performance metrics. 

As Business finance analyst, your key priorities will be within financial management. In this role you will use your professional controlling skills and your insights, to continuously improve and support management in pursuit of optimized company performance.

Combining your financial and business background with in-depth business knowledge, you will work with data driven performance management, creating fact-based and value adding business insight and recommendations for the production plant. 

Your tasks will include:

  • Monitoring efficiency, production times, budgets, and material consumption for the site
  • Preparing annual standard cost budgets and standard cost calculations
  • Preparing monthly financial forecasts and monthly reports
  • Maintaining strong and effective communication and collaboration with Production Managers, colleagues in production, and other internal stakeholders
  • Supporting preparation of Investment & other business cases to fulfill internal requirement of approval process
  • Advising and sparring with management on financial challenges and opportunities
  • Participating in regional projects and ad hoc analysis

Your strong interest and experience within performance management, your business mindset and your ability to build relationships and communicate with various stakeholders across the organization will allow you to succeed in this role.

Our requirements:
 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant Finance and Performance Management or Controlling Function
  • Experience in dealing with controlling, budgeting/forecasting, management reporting, preferably in production company
  • Experience in working with standard costs, and analyzing cost variances
  • Being a proficient user of SAP, MS Office and other relevant platforms and dashboards, e.g., SAC or Power BI
  • Master’s Degree in Business Economics/Finance/Engineering/Mathematics or similar
  • English proficiency required both written and spoken
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
  • Being driven by a natural curiosity and desire to progress and improve
  • Being passionate about making a difference and understanding how to drive performance through insight, cooperation and aspirations
