Rewards & Benefits:

£35,000 - £38,000 circa base salary per annum based on skills, knowledge, experience. About Us:

At Watsons Property Group Ltd, we are a leading Chartered Surveying firm working across the UK property market. Established since 1890, we continue to develop and grow our current geographical base and client portfolio. We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to lead and elevate our marketing strategies and join our Business Operations team, in managing and delivering our marketing strategy. This is a role that requires hands on marketing and media work at the front line in supporting our brand and lead generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver an innovative marketing and branding strategy, perfectly aligned with our organisational aims, to elevate our standing across traditional and digital landscapes.
  • Work with senior managers to develop market opportunities, build the Watsons brand, fostering revenue enhancement and service optimisation.
  • Oversee digital marketing activity, including website management, social media management, SEO/SEM development, email campaigns, and targeted online advertising.
  • Lead SEO and PPC performance by managing keyword strategy, on-page and technical optimisation, campaign setup, and ongoing analytics to drive visibility, leads, and ROI.
  • Writing and managing well-crafted content and communications for both B2B and B2C audiences, along with creating visual content.
  • Capture high-quality photos and video content to support marketing campaigns, brand storytelling, and social media engagement.
  • Champion a metrics-driven approach in marketing, leveraging data analytics to shape decisions.
  • Guarantee the integration of marketing strategies with sales goals through collaborative efforts with different departments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, media representatives, and influencers within the industry to augment our market positioning and brand reputation.
  • Represent our company at key industry functions, aiming to extend our brand’s outreach and connectivity.
  • Establish rigorous methods for tracking and evaluating marketing performance, providing holistic and insightful marketing performance reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a marketing role, with a strong preference for experience in the property, real estate, or similar professional services sectors.
  • Demonstrable success in implementing high-impact marketing strategies.
  • Proven campaign capability, particularly in developing sales and marketing led initiatives.
  • An analytical and budget-conscious mindset, with proficiency in digital and traditional marketing mediums.
  • Experience working with systems such as Meta Business Manager, Canva, Semrush, Photoshop, InDesign Google Analytics, and Google Ads, as well as being competent in using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills.
  • An understanding of SEO and PPC processes and digital marketing activities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and own projects from start to finish.
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and manage a high workload efficiently.
  • Experience in working to brand guidelines and with the ability to develop brand strategies.
  • A strong and confident communicator with experience in working with multiple stakeholders, external partners, and agencies. Adept at internal teamwork and building external partnerships with high levels of enthusiasm.
