💫What we are looking for?

We ae looking for a Commercial and Forecasting Finance Manager to lead the company’s commercial forecasting and financial planning activities, providing decision support to the Partnerships Team, driving robust revenue and financial forecasts, and supporting commercial negotiations and system improvements in a rapidly scaling healthcare business.

The Commercial & Forecasting Finance Manager will work closely with the, CFO, Head of and members of the Partnership Team and Management Accounting Finance Manager to drive commercial insight and robust forecasting as the business scales towards £100m turnover.

The Finance Team is central to supporting business growth, commercial decision-making, and maintaining high standards of financial governance.

The company specialises in adult ADHD assessments and ongoing care, operating both privately and through NHS contracts. With rapid growth and a multi-source revenue model, the finance function is central to supporting commercial decision-making and robust financial governance. The team uses Xero accounting software and is transitioning towards greater automation and integration, with both remote and office-based operations.

This is a Hybrid role, with the expectation to attend meetings and work from the London office at Canary Wharf once or twice a week as required.

😎What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working with the Partnerships Team to create individual ICB (Integrated Care Board) sales forecasts, consolidating these into a company-wide view.
  • Provide decision support and participate in commercial negotiations with ICBs and other partners.
  • Lead and manage the quarterly forecasting process for the company, ensuring forecasts are robust, timely, and actionable.
  • Cascade revenue forecasts into full financial forecasts, including profit & loss, cashflows, and balance sheets.
  • Collaborate with the Management Accounting Manager to specify and implement system automations and plan for the new finance system (ERP).
  • Support the Partnership Team in commercial decision-making with financial analysis and scenario modelling.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal financial reporting, ensuring regular management accounts and reports for senior leadership and cost centre managers.
  • Assist in the automation and integration of commercial events into financial transactions, reducing manual work and supporting the “automation first” strategy.
  • Support the implementation of new finance software, working towards a March 2027 go-live.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all commercial and forecasting activities.

🚀To thrive in this role you’ll need :

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), with experience in commercial finance, forecasting, and business development.
  • Experience working with NHS commissioning or similar partnership environments is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to support commercial negotiations and provide decision support to non-finance colleagues.
  • Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, and commercial analysis.
  • Experience with financial systems implementation and process automation.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to convey complex financial information to non-financial colleagues.
  • Collaborative approach, working effectively with finance and non-finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical and forecasting skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS365 and cloud-based finance solutions.

  • Competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000
  • Work Hybrid, with attendance in Canary Wharf once or twice a week as required and for Team meetings. Remote days to be worked within the UK.
