Description
XTEND is seeking a motivated and versatile Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment, contributing to R&D activities and supporting the evolution of our cutting‑edge systems—from early concept stages through mass production.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop assemblies and mechanical components, including drones, payloads, and ground equipment.
- Collaborate daily with the board design team and system engineers to support system-level integration.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing documentation and mechanical drawings to support production and testing processes
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Full proficiency in SolidWorks, including experience with large assemblies.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and technical drawings.
- Experience working with multi‑disciplinary systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of various manufacturing technologies, including:
- 3D printing
- CNC Machining
- Injection molding
- Hands-on approach, solution-oriented, self-motivated, and strong teamwork qualities
