
About this role
- Formulate a comprehensive content (proactive and reactive) and distribution strategy – offline and online - for both consumers and corporate e.g. business partners, airports, travel authorities
- Cultivate strong media and influencer relationships among lifestyle, travel and business sectors
- Partner with Brand and Marketing Activation teams in creating an effective brand communications strategy for the Group and key business lines globally
- Oversee the overall planning and execution of marketing calendar with brands/vendors, operations, and Airport Authorities.
- Manage the marketing and PR budget, ROI and managing costs
- Partner with various key business partners/channel owners including Sales, eCommerce and Loyalty team to develop effective, ROI-driven programs.
- Supervise creation of any marketing messaging in any format.
- Partner with Talent & Culture team to develop internal communications strategy to cultivate passion, motivation and brand love among employees
- Develop strategy and calendar for award entry, sponsorship, industry event and speaking engagement
- Plan and organize Grand Opening, PR engagement and corporate networking events
- Develop and implement the regional Linkedin content strategy
- Work closely with vendors, travel industry representatives and other stakeholders to increase company visibility and identify marketing opportunities with third parties, products and services.
- Organize PR trainings and briefings for company spokespersons
- Develop guidelines and playbooks for in-market Marketing teams to adapt
- Supervise in-market Marketing teams and local PR agencies to ensure consistent communications
- Responsible for overseeing daily press enquiries and emergency press handling as well as line-to-take
- Copy-write, translate, edit and proof-read all corporate collateral and PR materials including but not limited to press releases, newsletters, speeches
- Setup and monitor media coverage tracking structure for the Group and all markets
- Develop and maintain a global media contact list
- Conduct media pitching and handle media interviews
- Manage weekly/monthly PR updates for Management Team and across organization
- Participate in ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
- Degree holder in Marketing / Communications / Public Relations or related disciplines
- Minimum of 7 years’ solid marketing communications experience, preferably in aviation and hospitality industry.
- Solid track record of managing effective PR, both traditional and digital, and content-driven campaigns
- Solid track record of managing effective integrated marketing campaigns.
- Good understanding of travel, aviation or hospitality ecosystem
- Great understanding of audience behavior and ability to transform it into effective communications
- Dynamic, resourceful, multi-tasked individual with strong understanding of business objectives
- Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with people from different backgrounds and at all levels, both internally and externally
- Result-driven with good knowledge of using data to analysis and create ROI-drive campaigns.
- Excellent project management, time management, people management a must
- Team player yet able to work independently
- Excellent pressing writing and presentation skills
- Excellent command of English and local languages
- Flexibility to travel
