We are seeking a Scrum Master who thrives in dynamic environment where innovation meets impact. In this role you will blend strong agile knowledge with passion for AI and R&D to foster an ecosystem where people, data and ideas come together to deliver impactful digital products.

The Scrum Master is a servant leader responsible for driving Agile best practices to foster transparency, flexibility, and continuous improvement within teams. This role ensures delivery excellence by creating efficiencies, maintaining quality, and enabling measurable business outcomes rather than just outputs. Acting as a key enabler of transformation, the Scrum Master supports innovation initiatives for R&D Creation Center and the AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) as part of the Strategic Initiatives and Delivery organization.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will:

  • Demonstrated experience leading Scrum teams through multiple sprints.

  • Knowledge of different Agile methodologies/frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban.

  • Coordinate Scrum events and facilitate when needed (eg facilitate Daily Scrums, Sprint Retrospectives) on cross functional cross regional teams.

  • Proficiency in identifying and removing impediments.

  • Ability to teach team members on Agile practices.

  • Partners with Product Owners, to refine backlogs and clarify priorities to maximize value.

  • Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high value products.

  • Builds a culture of trust, accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Establish an environment where the Scrum team can be as effective as possible, addressing behaviors and team dynamics, and ensuring a good relationship between the scrum team, product owner and related stakeholders.

  • Coach team on SDLC internal process and ensure compliance.

  • Help the team embrace agile core values, adopt and apply principles and an agile mindset.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar roles, working with global teams of contract or colleague resources.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences.

  • Sound understanding of Agile methods and frameworks, such as Kanban, Scrum, SAFe, Nexus.

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. JIRA) and knowledge management tools (e.g. Confluence).

  • Highly self-motivated to deliver both independently and with strong team collaboration.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Knowledge of life science industry and/or technology.

  • Scrum Master certification.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work.

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee tasks requiring attention to detail, ensuring alignment with business goals and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to creatively take on new challenges and work outside comfort zone.
