Responsibilities:
Take full responsibility for sales-related financial accounting for the company in Croatia and Slovenia, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local Croatian accounting standards.
Manage and control sales revenue, discounts, rebates, marketing expenses, and other related items.
Oversee accounts receivable management, including aging analysis and cash flow forecasting; control credit and liquidity risks; collaborate closely with the sales team to optimize collection processes and minimize bad debt risk.
Analyze sales gross margin, expense ratios, and overall profitability, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Review the financial and tax compliance of sales contracts, commercial terms, and business models.
Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and business performance analyses, providing decision-making support to management.
Establish and continuously improve financial processes, internal controls, and ERP system applications, working closely with sales, operations, and the CEE finance team.
Ensure accounting accuracy and tax compliance for the Croatian entity, and support the internal tax team with tax filings and related matters.
Maintain effective communication with local tax authorities and external auditors, and support tax inspections and annual audits.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Economics, or a related field.
8+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a core finance role.
Experience in sales-driven companies and/or the automotive industry is highly preferred.
Proficient in SAP financial systems and Excel.
Fluent English as a working language; Chinese proficiency for daily communication is a strong advantage.
Strong sense of responsibility, execution capability, and risk awareness, with excellent cross-cultural communication and team collaboration skills.
