We are recruiting talent to join us in expanding our rapidly growing Enterprise fixed-line services, which are becoming a new pillar of our business, as well as our personal ISP services.

Job Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including the development, construction, and operation design of Enterprise ISP services and dedicated line services that support the growth of Rakuten Mobile. This encompasses end-to-end involvement from requirements definition and detailed design to actual construction and operational design for stable operation of IP and WDM networks specialized for ISP and Enterprise lines.

Working alongside experienced team members, the role involves leveraging cutting-edge network technologies to drive large-scale infrastructure construction projects. In the event of an outage, responsibilities include swift isolation, recovery, and root cause analysis, contributing to the continuous improvement of service quality.

Minimum Qualifications

・Experience in development, design, or operation and maintenance of networks and servers related to ISPs and Enterprise networks
・Knowledge and experience in any of the following technologies
　IP networking in general, BGP, VLAN, PON, WDM, DNS, Firewall, LB
・Knowledge and experience in network fault isolation, recovery, and root cause analysis

Preferred Qualifications

・Experience in development, design, operation and maintenance of FTTH/PON systems
・Experience in design, construction, and operation of NTT FLET'S ISP (PPPoE/IPoE)
・Vendor certification (CCIE, CCNP, etc.)
・English skill (communication level with internal and external parties)
・Experience as a project manager
・Experience in technical support of home network
