Duties and Responsibilities  

As Human Resources Executive, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:  

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
  • Focus on the rejuvenation of the Human Resources department.
  • Support the Human Resources Manager in the preparation and implementation of the property’ human resources plan in line with needs and host engagement initiatives.
  • Develop host engagement initiatives, by being a strategic part of the Mission Wellness team.
  • Support Human Resources department on recruitment
  • Assist on conducting the Host Heartbeat Engagement Survey
  • Attend and assist on the preparation of periodic host meetings, and awards.
  • Keeping job descriptions up-to-date and relevant
  • Maintain confidential host files
  • Assist to schedule events, activities and team gatherings with the collaboration of my team and communicate any activities to hosts.
  • Review and assist on developing host accommodation and host facilities, along with the host canteen and various other host activities.
  • Follow Human Resources compliances on all legal, statutory and financial requirements.
  • Maintain documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards.
  • A high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene, plus comprehensive knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures will be maintained by myself and all hosts in line with brand and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit legally required and confidential documentation related to the department.
  • Perform any additional duties given to me by the Human Resources Manager. 

 

Qualifications

To execute the position of Human Resources Executive, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

  • Legally be able to work in Portugal
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English, any additional language is also welcome!
  • Diploma or equivalent in Business, preferably in Human Resources and at least 1 year experience in a similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  • Technical skills include advanced MS Office, Outlook platforms.

Salary per month for this role is at 1200€ brut, along with other exciting benefits
