How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

We are looking for a skilled and motivated data engineer to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines and infrastructure for our analytics platform. 

• Design & develop modern data management tools to curate wealth management data sets, models and processes, while identifying areas for process automation and further efficiencies.
• Design and implement complex multi-dimensional data models that support reporting and analytics.
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract, transform, and load data from diverse data sources into the cloud-based data warehouses.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines using modern programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java. 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and transform them into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively present complex data in a user-friendly manner.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting data pipelines and transformations, resolving issues and ensuring system availability.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and business intelligence and data analytics best practices.

Skills And Experience We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or similar role, with a proven track record of building and maintaining data solutions.
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficiency in working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries 
• Strong understanding of database concepts, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
• Solid programming skills in Java, Scala, Python (or others) for data processing and integration tasks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial industry or a related field.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, GBQ).
• Familiarity with cloud-based data pipeline services (e.g AWS Glue) or distributed processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
