What your typical day will look like:
As the Social Media Manager, you will collaborate with brand and marketing teams to conceptualize and produce social and influencer content, focusing on strategy and ensuring the seamless execution of social media and influencer campaigns across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and Measure Strategy: Implement and continuously evaluate the Social Media and Content Strategy through impactful, targeted content and community-building initiatives across organic and paid channels.
- Content Creation: Lead in-house content production, focusing on low-fidelity, authentic formats (e.g., quick videos, behind-the-scenes clips, real-time stories) that resonate with audiences. This includes conceptualizing, shooting, and editing content for social platforms.
- Event Coverage: Provide real-time social coverage for brand events, activations, and campaigns, ensuring timely and engaging content across platforms.
- Trendspotting: Actively monitor social trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats to keep the brand relevant and ahead of the curve.
- Content Planning: Develop a sharp, relevant editorial calendar for digital channels, ensuring a consistent cadence of high-quality storytelling and timely, real-time content.
- Day-to-Day Management: Oversee the scheduling and publishing of all organic content across social media platforms.
- Paid Campaigns: Plan, execute, and report on paid social campaigns, providing data-driven insights to immediate and broader teams.
- Audience Engagement: Organize, build, and engage with custom audiences aligned with target segment strategies, including collaboration with high-influence personalities.
A bit about you:
- Graduate of any 4-year degree program focused on Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar fields
- Experience in media agencies or similar organizations with strong commercial acumen is preferred, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills for liaising with colleagues, clients, and media owners.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and numeracy skills for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- Proficient in managing campaigns, leading teams, and working under pressure with databases, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
