Pay Range: $65,000.00-$72,000.00 |100% Remote | Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Labor Day Holiday
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Design and produce print and digital marketing pieces to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate the intended audience in order to promote and increase brand awareness.
Primary Tasks:
Collaborate with the creative director and art director to determine the scope and creative direction for design projects.
Take the lead on design, messaging solutions and concepts that communicate the positioning of each campaign by following marketing/advertising standards.
Collaborate as part of a creative team with copywriters, art directors, graphic designers, and production artists to complete projects from initial concept to a final produced piece.
Ensure all design and messaging aligns with the brand.
Pitch design options to the creative director and clients on project layout/design to create communications consistent with the operational goals for advertisements, brochures, posters, etc. for marketing and advertising purposes.
Mentor graphic designers and production artists to develop skill sets among the team that are conducive to the communication & marketing needs of the organization, positioning creative services as a strategic partner.
Develop creative guidelines and ensure continuity across projects and marketing templates for all services, programs and departments.
Manage the production of all design pieces in a project to deliver marketing collateral within the agreed upon timeline.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in arts, Graphic Design, Advertising, or four (4) years of relevant experience.
Expert user on Apple Macintosh
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 – Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Acrobat
Knowledge of principles of design, including: layout, typography, color, balance, composition and current design trends
Familiarity with production requirements and working with outside vendors
Aptitude to work constructively under stress in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
Ability to apply and enforce style/brand guidelines
Detail oriented with excellent organizational/communication skills
Five (5) years’ experience as a graphic designer with experience in advertising in a design and production environment
