Job Description
Job Summary:
The IT Support & Operations Specialist delivers hands-on technical support and ensures smooth operation across core IT functions. Key responsibilities include end-user support, device and license management, procurement coordination, and financial administration of IT services. The role also oversees secure access provisioning and supports critical platforms like Great Plains and ServiceNow. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, independence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobile Device Management:
- Procure, manage the inventory and lifecycle of company-issued mobile devices
- Executive Support:
- Support executive during off hours or weekend to resolve any critical issues related to mobile devices or computers
- User Support:
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 onsite support for computers and mobile devices
- Offer after-hours IT support as needed
- Conduct IT offboarding process, including account terminations and device recovery
- Access Management & Security:
- Program and distribute YubiKeys for secure authentication.
- Set up accounts in Great Plains ERP system
- Manage user access and support tasks related to Accenture integration or collaboration
- ServiceNow support:
- Manage user access, license management
- Support any escalation related to ServiceNow Platform and work with partners and ServiceNow vendor to remediate the issue
- IT Budgeting & Financials:
- Assist with IT budget preparation and monitoring
- Code IT-related invoices for finance processing
- Generate and manage IT business quotes
- Process monthly billing charges to corporate credit cards and partner with Accounts payables team for vendor payments
- License Management:
- Track and renew software licenses, ensuring compliance and timely renewal
- Procurement Support:
- Purchase IT hardware and maintain accurate inventory records
- Process Standardization:
- Collaborating with IT leaders to establish standardized procedures for the procurement of mobile devices and computers
- Partnering with IT leadership to evaluate and streamline existing IT processes, with a focus on enhancing Service Desk efficiency and overall service delivery
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support, operations, or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ServiceNow ticketing platforms
- Deep understanding of mobile device support and MDM technologies
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management, Mobile Device Management tools (e.g., Intune), and enterprise billing systems is a plus
- Experience reviewing contracts and statements of work (SOW), and collaborating with IT and business teams is desirable
- Proven track record in process standardization and implementation
- Project management or experience leading IT initiatives is an advantage
- Exceptional organizational skills and effective communication abilities
- Capable of working independently while handling sensitive information with discretion

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $45,000 USD - $77,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
