The Tax and Treasury Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance and treasury operations for the Cook & Boardman Group. This role will oversee tax strategy, planning, and reporting to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Additionally, the manager will handle cash flow management, banking relationships, debt compliance, and liquidity optimization to support the company’s financial health and growth objectives.

Essential Functions:
Tax Management
• Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including income, sales/use, property, and other business taxes.
• Coordinate and manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns (through internal resources and external advisors).
• Ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations; monitor changes and assess their impact on the business.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency.

Treasury Management

• Implement and maintain treasury controls and processes to mitigate financial risk.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate tax, treasury, or a related finance role.
• Experience in multi-state tax compliance and planning required.
• Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics) a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax laws and treasury operations.

Role Responsibilities

Treasury Liquidity Measurement - Analytics & Reporting function delivers critical regulatory and internal liquidity metrics & analytics and firm activities via regular regulatory and internal stress metric reporting, customized liquidity analysis, systematically generated management reporting and analytical tools. Liquidity Measurement has a unique vantage point in the firm’s data flows that, when coupled with a deep understanding of client and market activities, allows it to build scalable workflows, processes and procedures to deliver actionable business insights. The following are core responsibilities for A&R function:

Delivering regular and reliable liquidity metrics, analytics & insights based on deep understanding of the firm’s businesses and its client activities.
Building robust, systematic & efficient workflows, processes and procedures around the production of liquidity analytics for both management and regulatory reporting.
Responsible for quality, timeliness and completeness of the underlying data used to produce internal and regulatory metrics and reporting
Solid understanding and experience with building Controls and Governance framework to ensure lower operational risk
Measuring, analyzing and explaining the key liquidity risk metrics such as the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Cumulative Cash Flow (NCCF) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR). Ensure all analysis is complete and accurate with thorough commentary, while escalating issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications, Skills & Aptitude

Eligible candidates are preferred to have the following:

Masters or Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, financial engineering, mathematics, economics, or computer science
9+ years of experience in finance / accounting, bank treasury or other relevant experience. Understanding of key liquidity regulations like LCR, and NSFR, and ILST is beneficial
5+ years of experience managing a team. Demonstrated ability to build and develop a strong team exhibiting positive team dynamics, and advise internal partners and stakeholder
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage tight deadlines

About You:

Inventory Purchase & Sales Oversight

Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance to track and forecast cash implications of artwork acquisitions and sales.
Support transaction planning, timing, and payment coordination for consigned and owned works.

Capital Projects & Expenditure Planning

Provide oversight and financial tracking of gallery renovations, real estate, and other capital initiatives.
Lead cash forecast alignment with capital expenditure budgets and project milestones.

Credit Facility Management

Oversee usage, covenant compliance, and reporting for the company’s revolving credit facility.
Monthly borrowing base reports and calculations.
Liaise with lenders and internal stakeholders to ensure proper documentation and timely drawdowns/paydowns (as applicable).
Prepare reporting packages and support annual renewals or amendments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with AR and AP teams to ensure timely and accurate posting of treasury-related transactions.

Own and optimize treasury/accounting systems, integrations, best practices and.

Desired Skills:

Experience in a gallery, auction house, or retail/luxury goods environment
Familiarity with Accounting Softwares (Intacct, Sage, or similar)
Understanding of the evolving crypto and digital asset landscape, including tokenized payments, stablecoins, or digital custody frameworks
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation a plus

Oversee net interest income and expense forecasting by modeling rate sensitivities, evaluating yield optimization, refinancing strategies, and partnering with investment and cash operations teams.
Assist with cash flow forecasting efforts, including scenario planning and stress testing to support liquidity, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives.
Drive capital planning processes by integrating financial forecasts with strategic objectives and preparing materials for regulatory and board reviews.
Develop and execute stock repurchases plans in consultation with Corporate Treasury Leaders and manage the dealers' rotations.
Support shareholders return program including managing and execution of stock repurchase program, dealer rotations, and dividend payment process.

Basic Qualifications

Proven ability to work extensively with financial data and analysis in Google Sheets and/or Excel, including building models, forecasts, and reports
Experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, with the ability to tailor communication for different audiences

Collaborate with the internal Trading and Settlement department for treasury reporting and forecasting.

What We’re Looking For

Post-Secondary degree with a focus on business (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce)
2 years+ of experience working in related Treasury field (Liquidity, Risk, Financial analysis, Reporting, Capital Markets)

Job Description

The Treasury Manager is a key member of IFS’s global treasury team of nine, working in a hybrid capacity from the Staines office and reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing front office activities, including cash and investment management, foreign exchange, and stakeholder engagement. Cash Management and Liquidity

Oversight of daily and weekly treasury processes, including daily cash reporting and cash positioning.

The Treasury Manager will oversee all aspects of the company’s treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, debt compliance, and insurance programs. Job Description

The Treasury Vice President has responsibility for and oversight of various activities and training relating to the daily cash management and treasury operations for Affinius Capital. Essential Duties:

Direct, supervise and develop professional and technical staff. Design, develop and maintain adequate training programs as required for completion of tasks and individual growth. Provide back up support to team, as needed.
Direct daily bank account management for corporate and partnership entities of the Company, and all property level and investment accounts to assure adequate daily account balances to offset account expenses and optimize short-term investment return. Coordinate cash availability with cash requirements (property closings, etc), direct the daily transfer of cash between accounts (cash or investment) to maintain target account balances, and reconcile all cash balances.
Manage and review daily activity, forecasts, and balances for assigned bank accounts to include working with banks to resolve issues, reporting cash shortages and responding to information requests.
Manage the accurate reporting of bank transactions across the Treasury team.
Reconcile assigned bank accounts; partnering with Fund Administrator to resolve bank and general ledger differences.
Oversee the ACH/Check runs weekly, or more frequently, as needed.
Manage tenant letters of credit to include maintaining the master letters of credit schedule and help facilitate actions needed for amendments and returns.
Monitor loan payment activity; maintain loan payment schedule and forecasts for assigned accounts.
Review, research and manage suspicious activity to detect fraud.
Manage tax payments to various state and federal taxing authorities.

Provide Yardi Treasury functions and Kyriba training to third-party partners.
Work with auditors on control procedures and respond to audit inquiries.

Requirements

Implement and maintain treasury management systems and tools.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of treasury data.
Collaborate closely with the India-based accounting team to ensure efficient and accurate cash flow management. This requires meeting with India team, that maybe early in the morning or late in the evening.
Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Tax, Operations, and Legal, on treasury-related matters.
Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed.

Skills And Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury management, corporate finance, or a related field.

Job Description

The Treasury Manager will support the Head of ALM and Middle Office covering all areas of ALM: liquidity and funding risk management, market risk (IRRBB & FX) and funds transfer pricing. Key Responsibilities

Liquidity Risk Management (including ILAAP)

Lead the end-to-end production and delivery of the ILAAP document, coordinating across Finance, Risk, Treasury and senior mgt.
Ensure alignment of the ILAAP with the firms risk appetite framework, business strategy and regulatory expectations.
Maintain a strong governance and documentation process.
Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to assess the impact on the Bank’s liquidity;
Oversight of the Bank’s weekly liquidity process (including cash flow and MI pack);
Continuous improvement of the Bank’s attrition modelling and data management;
Support the continuous development of liquidity stress testing modelling.

Asset and Liability Management

Support the development of and implementation of ALM strategies to optimize the Bank’s balance sheet;
Monitor and manage interest rate risk, liquidity risk and funding risk;
Analyse loan and deposit portfolios to optimize funding costs and lending strategies;
Improve IRRBB analysis and reporting. Implement hedging strategies to mitigate market risks using derivatives;

Provide insights and reports to support ALCo decision making;

Regulatory

Support responses to regulatory requests and audits related to Liquidity and Market Risk.

Qualifications

Circa 7 years of banking treasury experience.
Able to demonstrate experience of an ILAAP is essential.
Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of liquidity risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Experience of working with ALCO and senior management
Strong relationship management skills

The Essentials

Relevant Academic Background

You hold a degree in a related discipline

Act Qualification

You qualified with the Association of Corporate Treasurers

5+ Years of International Treasury Experience

You bring a solid track record of Treasury experience within a multinational corporate environment, with exposure to complex, cross-border financial operations.

Cash and Liquidity Management Expertise

You have deep, hands-on experience managing global cash positions, optimizing liquidity structures, and ensuring efficient use of working capital across multiple jurisdictions.

FX Risk Management Proficiency

You understand the nuances of foreign exchange risk and have practical experience in front-office FX dealing, hedging strategies, and managing currency exposures.

Project and Change Management in Banking & Cash Management

You’ve led or contributed to Treasury transformation initiatives, such as bank rationalization, or cash pooling implementations, and are comfortable navigating change.

Treasury Management Systems (TMS) Experience

Familiarity with TMS platforms, especially Nomentia, is a strong plus. You understand how technology can streamline Treasury operations and how they interact with other systems in Finance.
